I started with a simple picture and started playing with some easy stuff like rounding, beveling and adding reflections then I got creative and went out and grabbed a couple more of my animal shots and decided to play with getting those inserted. The first is a picture of a bear then a golden eagle, which yes I put both in just for good measure. I played around with the sharpness, contrast and color of each individually until I thought I got a pretty good match. Then positioning to create an effect was next. This is where Zing screen capture came in.
If you are working in power point you can add all this and save but my inserts did not show. I probably was doing something wrong. Any way with screen shot you are able to save all of your changes and create one image. Which I then saved and looked at putting in the final touches. This is something I definitely can use. There are so many times when we try and find the exact picture to convey a process or sequence, when finding something already set up is nearly impossible.

This is what it looked like after the adjustments I made. I was playing around with another one where I had airplanes including commercial passenger air liners, aerial demonstration teams and even a crop duster flying in all directions in the same sky space. This is going to be very beneficial for me to use in my HVAC/R class. Zing will prove to be a life saver and being able to edit and manipulate pictures will add value to the subject matter. I am working on a screencast that will look into an electrical access panel of an air-conditioner and with the new found editing features I have learned allow me to emphasize components by highlighting them. I am also able to show exact locations, wiring colors and connections for better troubleshooting exercises and understanding. I am trying out Pinterest for Thursday blog will let you know how it goes.
